Has anyone been to the store or ordered online or over the phone? I know it’s reputable, but I am more curious for online orders/phone orders and waiting time. I’m not in a real rush, but just a little concerning. I ordered some things April 22 and everything was in stock online, but we are here today and everything is on back order and waiting to come in. Yes I’ve called a couple times the past 2 weeks and said some things came in and should be getting ready to be shipped soon, but no word yet. Not bashing the store but seems like something could be off systemically or there’s that much backlog on their end. Original initial order was 4-5 weeks total in wait. So just seeing if anyone else recently has experienced the same thing. It’s summer now and I’m in FL so really don’t plan to shoot much anyway.
 
I bought a rifle and a scope from them a couple years ago and had no issues. Both shipped in a timely manner.
 
I bought a scope from them several years back with no issues, all went as expected.
 
I just ordered a scope on Thursday and has been shipped out and listed as arriving on Monday.

No other experience with them. First time buying from them.
 
I can’t speak to anything super recent but they provided me great customer service when I wanted a barrel swapped for a different contour.

Iv ordered a bit from them and always had good experience.

If it’s time sensitive I wouldn’t hesitate to call them and see if they can do what you require

Yeah I have called 1x each week the past 2 weeks and they said the same thing each week. It’s not really that time sensitive as it’s summer time but just the original wait time was 4-5 weeks tops for all items ordered. And now a couple items said they arrived and for me 2 weeks ago and should be processed and shipped soon but no new updates. A trigger I ordered was in stock but last time I called said it could be early July before I get that. So I’m not sure they hold very small amounts of inventory or waiting on manufacturers, but when I talked to representative they said it was both and around the time I ordered there were system glitches with inventory levels. I am not really sure what to expect but I think in a few weeks if I don’t get some items at least shipped and on the way may be a problem(personally). Even though it’s not time sensitive and want everything correct and precise, it still sucks waiting so long for items when everything was originally in stock and ready to be shipped when I ordered over the phone along with the first timeline of order. I’ll see what happens next week and call mid week if need be.
 
I’ve bought a ton from them and always gotten the items quickly with good service. It’s been a few years though.
I ordered a stock last night so we will see. Seems odd for sure.

I ordered several things over the phone. When I ordered, everything was showing in stock and asked multiple times to verify. Nothing was on back order other than an action, but the rep called me back and asked if I wanted a different one in stock, so changed mind and got that one. I figured since everything was in stock and the timeline that was given to me, I’d have everything by now, but have not received anything. As far as shipping goes, the rep told me when things come in and processed they will be shipped, whether separating or it being together. That was 2 weeks ago when some items were delivered to their facility. I am not sure how they do things but I didn’t get to many specific details, mainly general details. The person I ordered with on the phone no longer works there, so not sure what happened and the other guy that works taking phone orders seems to be picking up the pieces now. It’s not time sensitive but just getting a little annoyed now seeing it’s almost been 2 months since ordered placed and not one thing has shipped, when everything was in stock per the rep.
 
Just call them and tell them you want things to start shipping or an immediate refund.

Other then them telling me they sold more during a sale then they thought and it taking a week to get an action out the door for me I’ve have nothing but service form RHR

Yeah it isn’t that crunch time yet. I’m in FL and it’s not really that time sensitive, even if I got everything I wouldn’t use it right away. It’s just way too hot to shoot. Even though I’m annoyed I can wait a little longer. Maybe I can get something from them for the mix up. We’ll see what they say Wednesday when I call, if there isn’t any new updates by then.
 
Update. No movement on anything and an apparent shipping change. Even though the chassis, trigger, and magazine are in stock, it looks like they are holding them there until the barreled action is completed and sending at one time to reduce shipping costs on there end. To me that makes no sense because the barreled action needs to go to an FFL and the other parts do not. I guess at some point I called last month and this month the shipping policy changed to all items need to be together before being sent off. Is it me or is something off as the parts can and should be shipped to my personal address and the barreled action separately. It’s going to 2 different places anyway. I don’t know. I’m not really getting good vibes from this place. I was pretty close in canceling everything other than the barreled action. Hopefully I get an answer in the next few days. If they are sending everything to the FFL, I told them you might as well put it together, but they can’t. I’m puzzled by this. I’m pretty annoyed now. It seems like this place can’t retain people, talked to another new person that just started.

Well I highly doubt there chambering the gun, there just a warehouse.
So they don’t want to accept liability if they work on it.
Shipping is outrageous. So offer to pay the additional shipping.

But my impression is you’re just not gonna be happy with this deal. So just cancel and move on.

I’m happy with the deal, just the way everything has went down has not been ideal. Lack of communication on their end and updating policies during order and just seems like things are being made up on the fly somewhat. Or there is just a huge lack of knowledge of sales and orders but that’s probably because in 2 months it’s been different people that just started. Mentioned before I’m not in a rush to shoot this as it’s summer in FL and somewhat pointless. It’s just annoying. I know they won’t put it together as I was joking to the sales rep about that because he thinks everything is going to the FFL. I just have no idea why those 3 parts can’t be shipped out as it’s not FFL required. They know the barreled action is in progress but that’s all they know. I think I’m on 9 weeks for waiting but I’m fine with that as the barreled action is the most important piece. At this point I’m not going to be surprised I get everything in hands end July or early August. Yeah I’ll be annoyed. But it is what it is.
