red dot on a muzzleloader

Have debated putting a red dot on my knight muzzleloader and shooting patched balls for hunting in thick brush. Would the recoil be too much for the optic?

Recoil issues? Not if it is a quality optic from Trijicon, Aimpoint, Leupold, Holosun, etc.
I'm tossing around the idea of the holosun HS510 for one of my CVA's.
Read some reviews and decide on what size/type of dot you want, mounting height, etc.

I've run several on my Optima, never had an issue. I like the new Razor micro, going to give one a try on it this year.
