Recommended Processor in Montana

Since good ones are far and few between, I just thought I recommend who I used for my Elk and Mule deer last fall. Yellowstone Processors outside of Bozeman done an absolute great job. All the meat I have used has been clean, good, and it all was vacum packed. I’ll use them again...

I have never used Yellowstone but used Schaffer's in Billings for many years. They also do an excellent job.

Schaffer's is good. If you're further east, C&K meats in Forsyth has always been pretty good.

Used Hamilton Pack last year for my Antelope. They did a great job.

Western Meat and Sausage in Butte, only downside to them is they only accept animals during rifle season and by appointment only. But they are worth it! They have fantastic sausages and snack sticks. Been using them for 4 years now, and i use them for just making custom sausages
