Please recommend a custom holster maker that I can actually speak with. I’ve narrowed down that I want a blade tech disc system so I can then use multiple holsters on a single belt drop and or bino harness attachment. All OWB. I will also request an IWB without the disc option so potential of more holsters for the vendor.

I have different light options for these holsters and of course none of them are “special”
enough to have the exact same model as what companies offer.

I am building a system to support 5 different guns with 3 different light models and am willing to have a single vendor execute the work.

Current challenge is the “custom” holster makers are not custom business people as I have yet to see a phone # on their site. The multiple emails I have sent detailing my needs and desire to build with lights not listed on their site are not responded to. Many even claim they do not have a customer facing phone number to work with. Hammer Armament. I will not and refuse to use social media to contact them. This forum is as social as I want to be. It’s a business, act like one.

Basically the three I’ve contacted are all on spring break, bad business people or make so much money that my $500 of holster work isn’t worth the time to respond to an email or call request.

If anyone can recommend a custom maker interested in having a conversation. I am willing to spend my holster budget with them.

If a generic light holster and heat gun at home is the option please recommend the generic holster model.

Pistols for the effort

Staccato C
Tisas 5” single stack
STI guardian 4”. -no light option
S&W bodyguard
CZ shadow 2

Lights are Crimson Trace CMR 207, Onlight balder S and stream light 7x series.

Alien Gear isn't exactly custom but they've got a few modular systems might be worth looking at.
I've been happy with the one I got for IWB

Haven't used firsthand but they're on my radar for a couple things

My local guy changed from press fit holster to the new CNC machine. To add a new light-option he contends it’s $3500. This seems to be accurate from my research. As he works out of his garage I assume he is subbing the work to another shop.

I have reached out to over 12 vendors. So far 3 have returned an email. None have returned a call if they had a number. All 3 have said the could not help.

I did locate a vendor in Florida that has the TLR8 and most of my light options listed above. I ordered a holster for the Staccato C with a TLR8 option. This should fit the TLR7 as well. He is a one man shop and appears to do good work based on reviews and the site. I found him on my 6th google page for “custom kydex holster makers” near me. That means I have been through ROM 40+ websites to find a vendor.
If this works out I’ll post on a new thread as this is a journey. I will have purchased from 4 different vendors to make it work and I still need to make alterations on my own.

Havok Holsters is local to me here in Idaho.
I believe he is also a Rokslide member.
Very popular with the police/first responders in this area.
I’ve been happy with my 1911 OWB holster. He drills for every mounting platform it seems.

I looked at Havoc as an option to order and then modify at home with a heat gun if I couldn’t find a solution.

You need a local dude.

Any renaissance or horse/ranch type leather shops around?
Good leatherworkers are a dying breed unfortunately. I was heavy in custom knives years ago and used a local maker for a leather sheath. The sheath is very nice but it was a 3 month wait when he wasn’t backlogged and it cost 1/2 the price of a custom knife at the time. I doubt I could afford a leather option.
