RC harness with lineman's belt

I've been using a lineman's belt since before they were popular but never a need or want for a lineman's belt till now. Has anyone successfully added one to a harness? Currently have two Petzel Gym Harnesses and thinking it may just be easiest to buy an XOP " The Holiday " harness to use for the times I'd want a lineman's belt. I prefer the idea of using one of the Petzl's I already own because I'm already comfortable with those.

I've seen guys girth hitch a nylon continuous loop to the belt of their harness on either side to create linemans loops. Never tried it, so that isn't an endorsement of it though.

If you decide to buy one, I would recommend the dryad killdeer over anything XOP offers. Its just a RCH with linesmans loops build in essentially.

I made my own lineman’s belt from the same rope I use as my tether for my safety harness. Very easy to do.

Same. It’s really easy to build the lineman belt and loops on your existing rock climbing harness.
