Rechargeable batteries for trail cams

Curious if anyone uses rechargeable batteries for their trail cams, specifically sd card cams. I’ve got a few cameras that I just got that are non cell cams and am looking to try rechargeable batteries. Any feedback or recommendations is appreciated.

Did for couple years. No longer. If you must, Eneloops. Drawback is that most cams will shut down with a good bit of life still in the batteries due to lower voltages.

I use Eveready Energizer lithium primaries (single use). They last many months in all weather.

Again I use only energizer lithium they last all year in my cams cell or non cellular. Worth every penny

Yes i do all the time they work good. I do feel like the battery gauge doesn’t represent the actual charge, never shows 100% full but always is around the middle. But they’ll last a couple months if left alone or more. Winter is a little tougher on them. I use the Amazon branded ones both standard and high output

I been experimenting with 3.7 V rechargeable for the last six months…so far they absolutely suck .

Here 360 sells a solar panel/battery pack. It works incredibly well. I was buying lithium batteries four times a year. The panel was around $120 but well worth it. It works even in the cold of Alaskan winters. I have 3 called of the SPP 1025. Well worth the price!

Rayovac alkaline batteries from Menards last me a year in non cell cameras.
