Hey All,

have been considering getting an RBros Apex Hunter in 300WM. Anyone here an owner or tested one before. Would love to hear your opinions as it is quite the financial investment for me. Didn't know if you would recommend something else or if this is money well spent. TIA.

Travis is a great dude and builds hammers.
He throats the 300wm for the 210 vld if you want a different bullet talk to him.
I have an Apex hunter 300 wm
And a steel barrel 6.5 cm on a factory action and they both stack.
My 6.5 was chambered for 147 Factory but stacks the 140 Hybrid as well.
He is also one of the very few I know of that verify the rifle at the range will shoot sub 1/2 moa off of a bipod and includes the test target and a dummy round.
In my experience he is super friendly, helpful and within at least a or 2 of his estimated time.

I would ask for something besides the Jewel trigger though. I've never experienced it but others have had them freeze. I switched to the Trigger tech special pro curved.
The target with no writing is my 300wm w 210 vld hunting.

I can't imagine you not liking the rifle. I have a PRS comp rifle, the LWLR Hunter (steel barrel) in 300wm and a new Apex Hunter in 6.5 creedmoor. I don't regret any of them.

Travis is great to work with. If you haven't already make sure to call and discuss what you think you want. He will make recommendations based on your goals or his experience on what works well.

Some of the benefits are already mentioned but you will get a fully tested rifle with known good load info and he stocks a lot of components to keep lead times down.
