I had the Leica Geovids for about 7 years and went to a bino and separate RF- i like it better.

The Leicas are big, bulky, heavy...and the RF is only guaranteed for 5 years...so if something goes wrong you have a big piece of glass

I made a call to get a second pair of Swaro EL 10x42 binos last year when my wife wanted my 11 yr old pair of Swaros rather than a combo unit. I like having the separate rangefinder for bowhunting and it lives in the pocket of my Microtex shirt.

That said, is the Leica combo bino/rangefinder as slow in converting to horizontal distance as my Leica 1000R unit (2 seconds or so)? If so, I'd find it aggravating to use versus the instant corrected horizontal range readout of my Leupold.
