I'm looking for a rangefinder that will mostly be used for bowhunting in the western states at longer distances. Here are the three I'm most interested in along with some of their features. All are angle compensating. All are priced around $200. Below are the differences.
Leupold Full Draw 2: says it has the ability to separate the target behind grass/brush. It has a lot of features, but that could be confusing. 4x Optics. Says it is waterproof. Customer ratings are average.
Nikon Arrow ID 3000: says it has the ability to separate the target behind grass/brush. It has reasonable features without the confusing extras. 4x Optics. Says it is water resistance (not waterproof). Customer ratings are fairly good
Sig Sauer KILO 850: is a very simple rangefinder that can also be used for rifle hunting. It doesn't say it has the ability to separate the target behind grass/brush but it is the fastest rangefinder that constantly searches and then it is up to you to sort out which distance is correct. 6x Optics. It says that it's water resistant (not waterproof). It generally has the best customer ratings.
What have your experiences been with these? Can the Leupold and Nikon really separate a deer standing behind brush? Can't the Sig Sauer do that too? Is water resistant good enough or should it be waterproof? I don't care about a warranty - all I care about is dependability.
Thanks in advance!
