the ecodiesal uses the same bosch cp4 fuel pump that the 6.7 powerstroke uses from 2011 to current, 2011 to 2016 duramax used it then ditched it for a denso thats supposed to be more reliable, cummins used it on the 6.7 for a year or 2 around 2020 not sure on the exact year, they went back to the cp3 due to issues. The cp4 pump is not tolerable to water in fuel or bad fuel. Good fuel treatment with lube ever tank would be highly recomended.
first gen ecodiesals had there issues, my brother but 420,000 km on one(deleted) till it snapped the crank. that truck did alot of heavy towing. There issues are well documented as is making them last.
