Rain jacket - Lightweight / quiet / "breathable" / affordable

Any recommendations. Hopefully it'll spend most of its time in my pack on a 5-day hunt. Only real purpose is a shell. Insulation not needed. Will have opportunity to air it out each night, which is nice. Also be interested in the same qualities in a pair of pants.

Was kind of eyeballing this, but I could see it being loud.

I pickup a helium for just that reason , packs small and will always be there.
Not to noisy but I dont think a would actively hunt in it during archery season anyway.
I have other rain gear for later season

Marmot Precip has served me well for several years. It packs into its own pocket, does not weigh much, and is decently quiet. Also affordable.

Everything I own is super cold or super hot. This will be a different kind of hunt and, again, the jacket can be dried out each evening. I just wanna stick it in my pack. It’s not a three or four day raincoat that requires actual waterproof. However, I’m OK spending decent money on something that will do a purpose in different hunts.

For rain pants I have a pair of REI Ranier full zip. They meet all your criteria and work really well. I use mine backpack sheep hunting. They get used as rain gear, wind shell, over pants in mornings after rain to keep my lower half dry when climbing thru timber and brush,( gaiter replacement that is more functional ) Whatever you buy get full length leg zips, make venting easy as well as off an on much quicker/easier.

If you'll be doing more hunts of this type consider this:

- Quiet rain gear tends to get torn up easier (lighter face or brushed face which catches on stuff a lot easier)
- If it's a western big game hunt, especially in rifle season, a super quiet rain jacket just isn't necessary. You're either wearing it to break the wind while you glass or when it's truly precipitating. When it does actually rain, I don't worry nearly as much about noise as everything is muffled.
- You won't regret good rain gear. I'd recommend Sitka Dewpoint... lightweight, GORE TEX, tough stuff. It'll seem loud and you'll pay a pretty penny for it, but it'll keep you dry and that's really what you need most.
- Try finding GORE TEX on the resale market to save. I have a couple Dewpoints size large I like having but would consider parting.

Eastern Europe hunt. A bed each night. Speaking of Rab, i have some pants that I used a little bit in Alaska before we were forced to go waders and rubber jackets for 6 or 7 days straight. Black pant pictured here. Layed out some stuff this morning. Think I just need a light jacket, another outer pair of pants and a light rain shell.
