Heck ya! We did that for several winters and it never disappointed. We used a blend of bacon and duck fat. What did you use?

Store bought duck fat. I have some pork fat in the freezer that I use in my burger and thought about using it but just went with duck.

How would you go about cooking rabbit for a person that has never had rabbit before? I am interested in trying it but have never gotten myself to pick one up and harvest it!

Something like this:

FYI, rabbits are nasty to clean IMO. I don’t hunt them much. The smell of their guts just doesn’t sit well with me and I have a strong stomach and enjoy cleaning other animals and most fish.
