How about we use your logic and say that we take the amount of money a resident pays within their state for the year and subtract the amount a nonresident pays when they come hunt once a year and the difference is what a nonresident tag costs
This! All state income tax, property tax lets throw in sales tax as well. I’m guessing an idaho non resident deer tag should only be 25-30k. Seems reasonable. On the topic I think anything between 80/20 to 90/10 is a fair split

Land that would be relevant to this conversation or we talking about the lot your house sits on?

Does your family depend on that land producing in order to eat?

Just trying to figure out exactly what you are trying to imply.
