Quivalizer plastic or Aluminum hood

I’m close to ordering, seems they never come up in classified anymore and if they do I miss out. Looks like all I’m seeing is 2 oz lighter for the polymer hood. Which hood is preferred? Is one quieter/better than the other?

Plastic will be quieter than aluminum if you dont plan on taping it or something. Youll save weight on your back bar with a lighter hood as well.

I really wanted to like the quvilizer, but that thing was a wind sail for me, our range is out in the open desert and it's always windy, I fought it for a while and when I went back to my normal stab set up it was night and day.

Good luck with it, it is a great concept!

Have both I prefer the plastic hood. It has more room for broad heads and a better rubber molded inside. The aluminum is just foam and it’s quite a bit smaller
