I recently had a 1/4 peep swapped down to a smaller size on my vtm34, go to draw it back at the shop to check height and my bow locked up. They tried to blame it on the shop before them who put my strings on.Which didn’t make sense because it locked up because my mod was bent, I’m kinda thinking they may have bent my mod in the vice and didnt realize it. They gave me a new mod put my strings on i shot it 2 times and left. Should i be worried about anything else? or anyone have any input?

If all they did was swap the peep there is no reason the mod would be involved. The only thing I can think of is either the string was not put fully on the mod at the end one of the swap or when they put tension back on the string after installing your new peep, this causing it to bend. It’s hard to say when it occurred but I feel like there’s more room for error when doing a full string swap 🤷‍♂️

that’s what i thought too. but i shot the bow for 5 months after the string swap probably 3 times a week. either i got really lucky being in a shop when it locked.

This definitely a tough one…. Unless your shop did something other than just swap the peep. I doubt they’re the ones that bent anything, plus just putting a bow it the press wouldn’t bend anything on the cam unless someone was being a chucklehead pressed directly on the cam.

that’s kinda where i’m at, the person who gabbed my bow told me they just started working there 2 weeks ago so obviously i’m on edge already then the bow locked up.

You know you could go through the cams your self and just see if anything looks “off” sometimes it can be hard to tell. But look for any sort of serving wear that could be an indicator.

Is there someone at your shop that you definitely trust, you could get them to take a look. Also if there’s another shop nearby or on your way somewhere that could be another option.
