Question on the Sawyer Mini filter

For the cost, weight and size of the mini I see no reason to not incorporate it into your system with the regular squeeze. I'm going to mess around and see what I can come up with but I think the mini will be the perfect day hunt filter while the squeeze can handle the main duties at camp being a gravity filter for dirty bags. I might be over thinking it but the combo of the two is still cheaper, lighter and less bulky then the pumps.

Dotman I really like that idea an had not really thought about that being an option, I guess it just never occurred to take 2 filters. Grey ghost, no harm and I didn't take your post as rude, but from what I have read and heard is they came up with the mini for Ultra light guys trail running, hiking etc. not a lot of people use filters like hunters do, people that are hiking grab water as they go, and don't really have to worry about findin water, they also don't set up a basecamp and have the need to filter 10+ liters of water at a time. Heck I know a guy who hiked some of the AT and didn't take anything but a steripen and a nalgene. and some people had complained about not only the bulkyness but the pain of buying adapters an such to run the inline.
I really like dotmans thoughts though.
