I’m a huge .25 caliber fan. With the newish assergence of higher bc 25 caliber offerings from Berger and blackjack I want to tinker with my first “custom”. I’d like a lighter recoiling 25. Either 25-08 or 25 CM for the short action and light recoil for deer/pronghorn/ coyote cartridge. (I have two 25-06) I just want to share bullets.

order faster twist barrel and find dies.
Which one is probably the better option?

please spare the “get 6.5/ 6/ 25 bob

I don’t know enough about the 25-08..but I love my 25cm. Very easy to load for and dies are no problem just using Redding type S and a 6.5cm seating die. Good reamers designed for these bullets are already out there. Probably a better chance of ending up with an accurate build given proven components/parts/reamers.

I would go with the 25 Souper, aka 25-08. I have a Bob and a Bob AI but I would like to get a Souper too. Just because.

I have a 25 PRC. Awesome. Blackjacks are ok for target but I’ve had 200 bought and paid for since 1/1/2021 and still have not seen them.
I ordered and received 300 Berger 133 last week and received them yesterday.
