Y’all need to get LASIK. It was a life changer for me as someone who enjoys the outdoors.

I wear progressive bifocals and I can confirm that they can make getting the diopter adjustment challenging. I ended up having a couple of pairs of single Rx glasses made for shooting/hunting.Yes he does. Or at least did in his long-range shooting instructional DVD set, and other online videos I've seen - for a while, I think he even had some that pulled apart and went back together or something ...
I used to think it looked like a chore to be taking glasses on and off ... and then my eyes shifted in a matter of months and had more empathy.
I've seen different people try various methods - fully taking them on and off is a lot of excess movement. Putting them on top of your head can get in the way of earpro (and make the inside of the lens funky from sweat, sunscreen, hair oil, etc). I've found it works to just bump them down my nose to shoot, and then pull them back up. Can be done with the firing hand at the end of a shot sequence in under a second.

Exactly what I've been experiencing. I have not experienced this with any other scope.....ever.At every magnification if I adjust the parallax away from 50 the target becomes more blurry.
If I adjust the diopter to make the target visible the reticle becomes very blurry.
So at 25x I can make the target clear with the diopter all the way out with the parallax at 50 yards but when you turn the parallax is gets blurry AF.
It's like the parralax is installed backwards or upside down or rotated too far.
I’ve got the same issue with mine and I don’t wear glasses.I set up on my 600 yard gong.

Cliff Notes:
New glasses: diopter set last night.
Shooting glasses: diopter rotated out a slight turn when I switched
No glasses: can't turn it in far enough to get a clear reticle
With both pairs of glasses the target is clear with the reticle readable out to 10x with the parallax set at 50.
At 15x the target is kinda blurry.
At 20x it's more blurry.

For reference, one of mine appears to do this as well.
I thought y’all were just doing something wrong because the one I mounted was fine.
Are there any obvious assembly or manufacturing variations between the defective one and the functional one?For reference, one of mine appears to do this as well.

That's a bummer. I was thinking about grabbing one of the MR5's to use in place of this scope while I send it back to Blaser.....then Germany. I already sold my NF that was on this rifle, as soon as I got a ship notice on this THLR.My mr5 5-25 also suffers the same situation. My 3-15 seems pretty awesome.
Let’s hold judgement on something like that till more is known or one of these gets fixed. That's a bummer. I was talking to Nine Bagger and said I thought maybe they just threw all their returned scopes in the corner of a warehouse and then sold them all when Eurooptic wanted to buy whatever they still had.![]()
Speculation is not judgement.Let’s hold judgement on something like that till more is known or one of these gets fixed.
Are you going north any time soon?Exactly what I've been experiencing. I have not experienced this with any other scope.....ever.
For reference, I wear contacts.......a minus 2.0 in my dominant left eye (shoot LH). But I need readers at +1.75 to +2.00.
Not by choice. Are you going north any time soon?
