I received the stock a few weeks ago and have put some rounds through the rifle since. This is my wife's rifle and is chambered in 260 Rem. I am very pleased with the fit of the stock, and it was a big time upgrade from the hardwood Boyd's stock it was wearing previously.
I know people have strong opinions about the shape of this stock and I understand why. From experience shooting a heavier recoiling rifle than this one, it is deffineatly jumpy and makes it more difficult to spot your shots. That has not been an issue with the small caliber and the brake on this rifle.
This is currently the best lightweight option on the market for savage rifles. I will probably never own another Savage and if I could get more money out of this one, I probably would have sold it. Being that it is a 260 and left handed it doesn't have a lot of resale value. With all that being said I am very pleased with the stock and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their savage. The rifle is also shooting very well which is a plus.
