What is it called when they sail and the dog doesn’t see it and you send them in the direction that it landed several hundred yards away and they bring it back? That is what my dog will do.

Are you sending on a line that is to be followed and when dog goes off line can you stop the dog and cast back to that line.

Can a dog that runs field trials hunt? Can a dog that just hunts run field trials and win?
