I'd recommend a hood as well. It makes a big difference in warmth/comfort for only a little additional weight. If it's cold you can sleep in your puffy and pull up the hood.

Eddie Bauer has 60% off clearance every so often. Picked up a camo vest and brown microtherm down jacket this summer

Vest is half the weight of my First Lite uncompadre and 1/5 the price and fit is better. Won’t be as warm though or cool looking.

Got an EB cirruslite pullover ordered today for $49 shipped. 650 fill. I am always warmer in a pullover for insulation purposes. Thanks for the heads up!!
