Public rifle range near Seward, NE?

Does anybody know if there is a public rifle range near Seward, NE? Google brought up an Izaak Walton and a few other clubs, but just looking for a public spot if it exists. Thank you in advance!

I don't believe there is one TBH. Read the regs or call NE G&P, you "might" be able to shoot on state land in a few areas but I'm not sure. I've lived in NE Nebraska my whole life and never have, mostly just on private ground with access/permission. Going to a club might be your best bet.

Killdeer WMA is your best bet. Most eastern WMAs have had target shooting prohibited due to damage/abuse/etc.

Not that I am aware of, what are you trying to do exactly?

Daughter goes to school at CUNE, and I was looking for a place to shoot this fall when we visit in prep for an elk hunt in Nov.

Given the lack of ranges, and the fact that the ones that do exist are only 100 yards, we'll probably just plan on her coming home to shoot. Thanks guys!
