Heres another I hate to list and I'm still debating listing this......... this is a remington 700 bolt and action purchased straight from PTG, with everything done to it. Barrel is a 21inch douglas match barrel, threaded with a blended thread protector. I don't remember the twist, or contour. The pictured group is literally my first handload ever. 3 shot group at 100yrds in 20mph gust. 127lrx, it has shot all factory loads I have tried under 1 inch with a few at .5 inch. The stock is a lvsf stock cut for bdl bottom metal, and bedded. Under 100rnds on this. All work was done by the only Smith I use. Joe collier of collier rifles. This is for bare gun, no base, scope, rings.

Nice rifle. Did the gunsmith cut the stock for the BDL?

@Ellison3dpro Wondering if you can add some photos of the bottom metal fit, how the cut out looks, and the stock pad. I like these LVSF stocks, but some had sticky pads.

Thanks. If you get a chance, can you pop that BDL bottom metal so I can see the cut? Just wanting to get an idea of how clean it was done, since these LVSF stocks start ADL.

@Ellison3dpro any info on the thread size on the barrel? Thanks. Might help determine the contour of that tube.

Raceway is opened using a PTG guided raceway reamer
A PTG Remington Gen II receiver reamer is used to put I.D to proper diameter and to center line, true receiver lugs, and make receiver lugs and action face parallel.
A PTG piloted tap mandrel is used to chase the threads making them more true to center line.
A PTG bolt is fitted to the action, and the face of the bolt is trued while in the action
