PSA: Remember to clean your water bladders.

Just a friendly reminder to clean you water bladders and hoses. After throwing them in your closet for the winter there are probably science experiments growing inside them.

PBW then hit it with sanitizer let it air dry before storage.

I keep mine in the freezer which works out pretty well.

Me too. Never had an issue. Wash them at the end of the season then throw them in the freezer.

Literally have never washed a water bladder. I air them out once it's too cold to use them and switch over to the Nalgene. I've used the same bladder for years and never had any kind of issue.

Air drying the badder seems easy. I always worry about all the moisture in the hose getting out. What is a good method for that?

I have never heard of putting them in the freezer, I’m going to try this. I had always just aired them out.

I use a little bit of vinegar and hot water, rinse well, then toss in the freezer.
