PSA regarding ammo rebates

Just a quick reminder since this is the time of year that most the rebates are offered. Send them in seperate envelopes if your mailing multiples and keep copies of the completed form and upc labels.
Set a reminder on your calendar to follow up on the rebate after 2-3 months.
Most of the rebates are in the form of a prepaid credit card and usually a pia to use online.
Include a printed proof of purchase showing the amount and vendor. Packing slips do not qualify as proof and the rebate will get tossed out.

I got a prepaid rebate card for a federal rebate and the thing won't even work in a gas pump. Wondering if it's worthless...

You have to call and activate it within "x" amount of time otherwise it's no good. I forgot to put that in my original post, it was something I got burned on also.

I activated it the day before. I think part of the issue is it only has a mag strip on the back - no RF chip.
