proud supporter or unwanted attention

Same here, nothing on my truck...i hunt overlooked areas that folks drive right past, last thing i want them to know is that it's a good spot to hunt. I even go as far as putting a pair of running shoes on the hood or tailgate with some water....i look like a dude out for a run.

I used to love puting stickers on my truck.then this past summer i got a new truck and only put one sticker on it.2 days later my dtiver side tail light got busted.wish i had a pic of the sticker.u all would laugh. Speak english or get the f#*@ out witj statue of liberty flippin u off. needless to say i think i learned not to put any stickers up of anything i support.

well thanks guys, i agree on the product stickers..you put em on your truck ..well your takin chances. i was talking about Rocky MT . Elk Foundatin,Back Country Hunters and Anglers,Colorado Bow Hunters...the stickers sure zero your truck in, but we sure need positive representation.

Very true, goes along with your theory of guys with big buck & bull tattoos right? Haha.

Now no offense to anyone here! That is just my observation in our area but yes. Not saying they couldn't but maybe these guys jinxed themselves?

I have a pronghorn and an elk on my Tundra and a Sitka sticker on my real hunting rig: '93 Subaru Legacy Sedan. Confuses the hippies.

Not just a hunting angle....Some people think I'm weird, paranoid or whatever but I don't like to advertise anything. I don't put decals for various reasons. I don't want anyone to assume that I have valuable gun's bow's optics.... I don't want anyone to know that I run or what any of my other interests may be as I feel that's too great of a pattern and the reason I think this because in reverse if I look at your truck I can guess what items you may have, that you hunt tells me a lot about your lifestyle and what you may have in your home, and the times you may be away....

My biggest pet peeve is the stick figure families, I would never advertise my family on the back of my vehicle

Exactly. Especially with the stick figure family stickers. Some people call me paranoid, I just don't want strangers knowing anything about me. The only sticker I have on my truck is a Gadsden flag on the back window but my truck screams redneck anyways so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I have none but don't have any reason not to, just haven't found any I really want yet I guess. I may get a bumper sticker that says "the world would be a better place if there was a hunting season on liberals".

Some things deserve stickering, some do not. My Pelican rifle case has a bunch of surfer stickers on it so when I am traveling people think its a guitar. Or bong case or something not firearm related. Other than the 4 foot die cut pot leaf sticker I have on my tailgate I fly low. In all seriousness I put a running bull elk sticker on my topper window with a silhouette of a guy at full draw in the opposite corner and on the side window is a CBA sticker. I think i get more jollies out of the stickers than others because everytime I see that big bull running across my topper my mind goes somewhere else and a big grin comes across my face

I have a Rokslide sticker and a sticker for the Wildland fire team I'm on. That's just because I'm proud to represent both.

It depends on the vehicle. I agree stickers can set a vehicle appart. My new truck doesn't have any stickers, it doesn't need to be set appart. My mini Jeep that I use to commute to an area full of tree huggers driving mini SUVs has an RMEF, BHA and Bowtech sticker on it to distinguish it from the other "Blue girl red state" Jeeps that look just like it. My old suburban has multiple stickers on it. I figure its a good way to explain even though there is a grungy guy living in it he is just hunting/fishing not homeless. As far as being worried about advertising what gear is in my rig I figure there is a gun in just about every vehicle around here and I lock my doors every time I get out no matter where I am.

No stickers. No particular reason, guess I just haven't found one "cool enough" yet.
At the same time I really don't want to advertise that there may be several Sage rods, Ross reels, etc, all well known & expensive items that are easy to sell quickly here, in the rig.
I will at times leave an unzipped & obviously empty gun case smack dab in the front seat where you can see it through the window. I figure maybe they will wonder just how close to the trail head I might be & just how soon I might come around the corner. Maybe doesn't help, but probably doesn't hurt.

I had a University Alumni Sticker, and a California Cattleman's Association sticker, and a Society for Range Management on my Truck after I graduated from college. When we bought a new White pickup, I did put a CCA sticker in the back window to distinguish it from the thousands of other white Chevy/GMC trucks.

Now I don't have a cause or company I feel strongly enough to put a sticker on my vehicle for. I use gear stickers on my water bottles, and Coffee Cups to ID them in the "rotation". My Bow Case and Rifle case have stickers to distinguish them in the baggage claim.

I don't put anything on the trucks, but my camper shells have a couple stickers. I'm a Colorado bowhunter and proud of it. I don't care what anybody else thinks of it. If it draws unwanted attention.....then so be it. And with all the illogical gun laws that the idiots want to enact, I also have no problem wearing an NRA sticker.

and now the word is out....
