Pronghorn weather near Buffalo Gap SD

Heading out to Wall in a couple of days for the SD antelope season opener. Will be hunting the buffalo gap grasslands. It's been dry and hot all summer here in Iowa, would have been great waterhole weather, then late last week it started cooling off and raining. Great for the farmers here in the midwest not so great for antelope hunting. Anyone near the Buffalo Gap grassland tell me how its been out there weather wise the last week or so?

You should have some luck at water holes I would say!

Been hunting for 3 days now in Buffalo Gap and not a lot of luck. Moved my blind this afternoon to a better looking spot that I stumbled onto. Hope to have a great full story when I get back.
