good suggestions for concerned people. thanks for putting it that way. I think that is a good message for all sides in this heated debate. I think i will add that contacting your rep NOW and just saying you don't want cut to extend into federal land transfers and what every else "insert your issue here". I think doing it ahead of time and not waiting until something happens is good with the pace of things.Hopefully you are making your voices heard as understaffed and underfunded federal agencies are suffering further cuts to the staffing.
Hopefully you are voicing your concern about the freeze on federal funds. Many conservation projects involve grant funding, which is frozen.
Hopefully you are expressing to your congressional delegates how important public lands are to your quality of life, your local economy, and the continuation of the North American model of wildlife management.
