Has anyone used the prized possessions euro mount hangers? It looks like a solid product but I wanna make sure their marketing isn’t getting me. It’s for a high mass 340” bull right next to the stairs in my house and above a high traffic couch so I want to make sure whatever I mount it with is super bomber

I haven't used that mount specifically, but this is how I mounted a similar size euro.

My taxidermist uses a thick copper wire to make a loop in the back of the skull.

I ran that loop through a 90° angle bracket and bolted it to the plague.

Two lag bolts (+washers) in the plague mount the whole thing into a wall stud.PXL_20241221_180625881.PORTRAIT.ORIGINAL~2.jpg

My personal opinion is that a euro mount needs to be at a natural angle for it to look good.
Not a lot of pics with the prized possessions, and they are adjustable, but it doesn’t look like there is a lot of adjustable.
For the reason, I would go with Skull Hooker.

They look OK. It’s hard to tilt a big bull skill back to a natural angle without holding the skull away from the wall like a skull hooker does. But I have lots of euros and they look perfectly fine with the skull hanging flat to the wall.

Anytime you use one of those hangers you are still required to screw a good sized lag screw into the stud. My question who’s always been why do you need anything more than one lag screw? Unless you actually do want to hold the skull out away from the wall or just like the look of a plaque.

There are natural holes in a skull where you can run wire. Put a 1/4 inch lag screw into the stud at an angle and slip the skull right over it.IMG_0058.jpeg

Mine has been solid with a 331 bull. You can tilt it up, but it’ll be limited by the antlers hitting the wall.

The Skull Bracket is much stronger than the skull hooker.
They work great and are made in Wyoming.

I have this heavy MT bull on a Head Hangerz / The Hangr Co.

I bent an H2 so his tops would fit but should have bought the H2 Standoff. They are solid steel and stout and made in Kansas.
