I have great luck with the handheld Frankford Arsenal Perfect Seat.
Seating depth is adjustable with a hanf wheel, the unit is very heavy and all metal - seems like it will last a lifetime.

Finally joining the club. Have a 550c in route.

Not sure how much i'll want to dump weighed stick powder charges on the press but it should be nice with thrown charges of ball powders at least.

I got the Derraco lite version for $75 from Amazon, got it installed last night and ran through 50 cases - it was awesome, smooth and very easy to use.

The lite version was the original version and does not have the micrometer adjustment on the bottom. I'm not sure that is needed and for 3-4X the price I was willing to give up that option to try the system.

I think the lite version would be just fine. I’m not using the micrometer at all, just seating to the bottom of the pocket.

Very nice unit. I reccomend buying their tubes. The Dillon tubes I got don’t have any hole in them and the plastic funnel deal dosnt sit nice in the pcps.

Happy with mine so far, just loaded my first PRS match brass, much nicer than my hand primer.

The lite comes with a small/large priming tube. I loaded 20 in a tube and probably could have loaded 40-50, I can try to load a tube up to see how many if anyone wants/needs that information. I ordered 2 of Derraco's longer tubes and will never use them.

The small tubes that come with hold around 45-48 primers.

man.... i'm an oddball here... i simply use my RC press to seat them by feel. i also... hate my hand primer from RCBS.

i'm just going to check out of this one.

How are you guys loading the primers into tubes? I imagine that process being awkward as hell.

You just use the tubes and press down on them. Super easy and fast.

First step in loading them is flipping them using something like this:

...Then picking them up with the rubber nipple on the tubes.

Lots of YT videos on the process, but agree, super easy.
