Wondering if anyone has some real world results on game from using the PowerBelt ELR bullets?

I have a CVA Paramount Colorado and it comes with the 330 Gr PB ELR with BH209 load data. The numbers look impressive on paper in regards to velocity and energy, however, a little concerned with this bullet holding up against a moose. I drew a winter smoke pole tag here in Alaska and trying to hone in my loads/bullets before it gets too cold.

I think there are a few threads here that talk about PowerBelt ELR terminal ballistics. From what I remember they seem to work well enough for most people (although you can expect them to fragment a lot rather than expanding nicely), but I've read enough horror stories of them not having any effect that I just went with 300gr Thors despite the worse BC.

Not a fan of Powerbelts, fragment too much for my liking, Bulled a healed over powerbelt out of the hindquarter of bull once. No Excuses Muzzleloader bullets are far superior in my book. perfect mushroom everytime, Have recovered 4, 95%+ weight retention.

My experience wasn’t good. I was using the 45 ELR’s for Minnesota white tails. Dialed and amazing accuracy with a 200 yd zero. I grabbed a new pack of bullets and went hunting. Missed the biggest buck of my life at 125 yds. Shot the next day and didn’t get any of 4 shots on paper at 100. Bullets keyholed and there was scattered shrapnel from the skirts in the cardboard target backer. They assured me they have not had issues since they started putting lot numbers on their bullets, But mine did and I saw exactly what others have in the past. The higher BC isn’t worth anything if it isn’t reliable.

I don't have any pictures of the bullet but my brother killed a nice bull in New Mexico last month on a late muzzleloader hunt. 375 yards through a CVA Paramount and dropped it. I was impressed.

240 yards on a whitetail quartering shot, entered right side of neck and came out behind the left shoulder.IMG_20230101_013205.jpgIMG_20230101_013207.jpgIMG_20230101_013211.jpg

This was a 50 cal ELR entrance out of a CVA Paramount at close range with a max charge of Blackhorn.

Shot a bull elk this year with this exact setup. Bull went maybe 10 yards and sacked up.
We didn’t recover the bullet but they do seem to fragment bigtime. They are very accurate bullets. The shot was around 250y
