I made the prediction 2 or 3 years ago when EHD hit the Midwest hard that new world records would likely be taken. This is a year or two earlier than I figured, but I bet they will be more over the next 4 years. There is just something about low population that makes the antlers pop...that and good rainfall plus there is a lot of good management going on now.

Hasn't been a significant EHD outbreak in TN since 2003.
