Do You Use Hiking/Trekking Poles?

Looking for general info from our membership here, not asking what is best. Please mark poll with your answer and if you wish to list what poles you use, please leave a comment stating brand/model and weight of pair.

Thanks!

Ha dotman, that's just for grins. I have heard that a few times though, when I bring up hiking pole use.

I don't know how you guys pack out without them unless it's a short distance. They help my balance and knees with a lot of weight on my back. They've also kept me from falling more than once

BD Ultra Distance Z Poles. 9.9 oz for the tallest they made. They don't adjust for height so I may replace them but I haven't yet.

I just weighed mine to get the 9.9 oz so they vary a little in weight it seems.

Leki corklites.. For me and my knees they are a must when packing a heavy pack.

They stay in my pack while hunting.
