Polishing my bolt

If I polish my bolt on my bergara b14 hmr wilderness 6.5 creedmoor will it mess up the coating on the bolt and receiver ?

Just using simichrome and working the bolt in the action

Only picture I have lol . I think it's cerakoted action and bolt .

you could maybe buff it with some fine scotch Brite but I wouldn't, definitelynnot going to hit it with any kind of sandpaper. your best bet is to cycle/use the thing until it smoothes itself out naturally
