The season and location are critical, that said I've had it 75 one day, and 22 with snow the next. Also variable on how much walking you will be doing vs sitting. My experience as a guide is many clients are sitting 90% of the time, so layers and and a foam pad or two. The altitude is no joke, and it can hit many people causing fatigue. We rode horses in the dark both ways, and some clients were not comfortable on the horses. It's not a trail ride, the horses are used for a reason, and I've seen multiple clients bow out after just one day not being comfortable on the horse. Be specific with you guide as to your experience and your expectations. Good luck - it's so much fun!
