I was around Atlanta Idaho in the late 70's, Thanks but NO Thanks. Wouldn't live there for anything and I really haven't been back. Even though I worked for the Forest Service at that time. Once was enough.

2018. They offered $10.50hr to start but required a CDL, MSHA cert, 10+ yrs experience and be on call 24/7 during plow season.

Taco Bell paid $17hr during the same time frame.

Oh my sounds like a lot of jobs around here

Sad all the low pay, back in the early 90's state offered me a field welder's job for G&F. It was $10.00 hr. Would have been a great job and good retirement, if you can starve for 20 years. They only wanted a CDL and about 15 certs for that pay. No where near scale at the time. I believe it went unfilled.
