Getting ready to replace the stator coil and pick up with a new one, been thru the process on line and it looks fairly straight forward. But we all know there is usually something to screw you up. So if any of us have been there and done that with a Polaris 500 Ranger stator coil could you let me kno0w what hang ups I may incur ?

Don't know anything about Polaris, but have done it on a few Arctic cats. The Arctic cats have an issue where the tranny oil eats the glue holding the magnets and then the magnets come loose and trash the stator. They sell an upgrade flywheel that has the magnets held in place by a metal sleeve.

I bought my parts from an outfit called RM Stator.

Literally 100% of the things arctic cat makes suck balls.

I think you’ll find many of the builders buy parts from China. And many of them have the same or similar issues.
Arctic cat isn’t the only builder that has issues with flywheel magnets.

I saw that Polaris also had a sealed magnet fly wheel, I did not get one nut should here down the road.
OK some it should go like clock work unless a magnet has come lose>
