I’ve tried tons of different socks. Never heard of these. Are you familiar with these, and if so which ones. I’ll have to try a couple.
also, how’s the sizing. I hate it cuz I’m usually in between a large and an xl.

I am very familiar.

Sizing is spot on and much less constrictive/elastic tight than darn tough.

I have light, medium, and heavy tactical for outdoor wear.

For the gym and running I use the hiking extra light mini crew.

Lifetime warranty, and the same people who started smartwool.

They look comfy sitting next to my desk in the package lol .... been doing quick evening hunts for my wife's blacktail. I won't do much or any hiking but I'll wear them in my boots out glassing for that in the next few days to just see if they are comfy. Will report back

I got two extra light, two light and two medium. So far only tried the extra light. I like em a lot. Glad I decided to get several pairs. They will be headed out west with me in three weeks . Again, thanks for the heads up. I probably have 35 pairs of merino wool socks and always willing to try new kinds.

Wore a pair of the lights to work yesterday and they were comfortable. They definelty have a looser fit compared to my darn toughs. I’ll try them on some training hikes this weekend to determine if I’ll pack them for my trip next week.

How are they?

I wore a pair of lights with my sandals at work. They fit nice around my feet/ankles. Tight on my calves. I got the highs in the lights. I'll get one size shorter and the extra lights next time for work. I'll use them for most of my hunting also. They will be warm enough until it gets close to negative out here.

Call them and talk through that fit, see if they will exchange them.

No joke, I was on a business call with some of their team today and they mentioned this thread. I am certain that their priority is to have customers with no question as to if a different size/thickness/height would have a better result, and would do what it takes to put an answer in your hands.

I ordered 7 pair and am happy with them also. One of the pair had a small hole in the toe seam and a call to customer service got me directly to a helpful person that sent me a replacement pair and return label
