I find them very comfortable. In fact the most comfortable merino socks I have and I have them all. I bought them for the lifetime warranty and figured they must be better than other brands but I wore holes in two pairs in a few months. I returned them for two new pairs without any hassle though. You are responsible for the return shipping but not on the replacements.
I bought a sampling of the low ankle and low crew type socks (ultra light, extra light, light and medium) initially to try and was pleased. I was happy enough that I went back on a later sale and bought a bunch more in the weights I liked. I like them better than the equivalent Smartwool and Darn tough. My Smartwool's were about toast and I never liked the couple pairs of low crews I tried in Darn Tough much so it was time for replacements. So far so good, I'll buy more when needed.
