Pistol/revolver deer

I've tried to hunt with a handgun for years. The problem was, I never saw deer.

This girl showed up 2 seasons ago and a legacy gun that both my grandfather and father owned got to speak.
Hey Jpsmith. Is that a Ruger security six? Thanks. -Rufus

Gonna try to take a doe this year with a pistol. Technically I already did with my cva scout in 6.5 grendel, but it's sporting a brace so its really a rifle in disguise...

Probably gonna use my 222 contender, maybe my s&w 66.

I had use of a 222 Contender 12" barrel with a 14 twist (wish it was a faster twist though) for a few months building a load for a hunting partner. That 63gr. Sierra SP ahead of a stiff load of Benchmark was a thumper on hogs inside of 100yds!!! I took it to work with me on several occasions and while making my rounds along the coast I piled them up. Always said I was going to get one, just never did. The O'le Triple Deuce is a nice little cartridge.

Super Blackhawk Bisley has accounted for some deer. .44 Mag with 240gr XTP.

I have a wild hair to try and kill one with a 9mm, but haven’t tried it yet.

Whitetail for that thought she could blow at me without consequences, stock Glock 22 180 hydra shoks. The pig took a round from the 10mm, 3 rounds from the 10 gauge, 3 more 10mm rounds, so it kinda counts.

The 10mm is such a good hunting cartridge and does not receive much love for what it can do. And in the Glock G40 platform it's like peas-n-carrots!!!

01Foreman400 - What is you barrel length on your 10mm in the photo? I am currently running a 6" KKM in my G40 but have considered going longer to add a threaded break for weight of sort for the muzzle flip. Lighter bullets are fine but the 190gr. to 210gr. class hunting bullets flip the muzzle pretty good.
