No it was in AK. I was pretty excited to get to see one. Picture is poor because the sun was behind me and I couldnt see my screen for crap so I was just taking pics hoping to get a decent one.

From what I’ve gathered it’s a great gray owl and a pretty rare occurrence to come across one in the wild.

Mine:

Deer in my front yard a couple years ago

Deer in a gully near a residential area, it's hard to see but he had a drop tune in the right side.

Bear eating some Doritos on the shoulder as I traveled to work one day

10/20/25 while elk hunting NW CO. We first saw one and then the other approaching from a quarter mile away. They were displaying and grunting each other. It ended without a confrontation. One of them had what looked like a wound on its right rear hind quarter, with a pronounced limp.
