Pics of animals you weren't hunting

This fawn, standing right in front of my foam archery target target, bow in hand, about 20 yards away. Hadn't gotten a buck yet that season. The gods are laughing at me.

was out spring scouting...came across this.
dead cow, covered in dirt, leaves.
found 1 more cow carcass and one fresh almost consumed calf too. Total of 3 carcasses within 400 yards of each location.
Public lands, Cleveland National Forest.
Wonder if rancher leasing grazing on this land even knows a big cat is working on the herd.

Thats always eerie walking up on. 2 years ago while shed hunting, I came across a doe and fawn that were fresh in the snow like that.

Anyone ever eat "tag" soup? LoL.
This past season, I saw every animal under the sun within shooting distance except for oryx, which I had a tag for. Sometimes I think the animals know when they can’t be shot at and try to rub it in haha

One alive and one dead. It is debatable if I was hunting these or not. What I do know is I was not happy to find them. The dead one was the first day in our new house. The live one a few weeks later. Brown Recluse spiders.
