This guy swam over to our island from Orcas Island WA a couple of years ago. Two of them showed up on Orcas probably from Vancouver island and this guy decided to pay us a visit. Never been an elk here as far as anyone knows. He was here for a few days, then swam back to Orcas. He and his buddy were there for most of the summer then must have gone back to Canada. I called him in to me up in the woods with some bugles.

I was packing up camp in an area where I had seen a fair number of moose (Rawah Wilderness), and I was startled to find this guy looking right at me.

These bighorns were more curious than they should have been, right next to camp, spotted in Colorado's Rawah Wilderness.

Zoomed in on the albino doe that lives behind my house. It’s such a pure white that it blurs the camera when the sun is hitting it right. Looks fake

Short-eared owl from last night. The males put on a dramatic courtship display soaring 200 meters above and then dive with wing-flutter down to the tall grass.
