Huge fan of Tillamook butter. Living in SC I never thought I'd see this. Drove from Eugene to Cannon Beach and snapped a shot on the way past.

This guy looks more like a fat bear week contestant then an early spring black bear.

You probably saw some pretty high-water levels if you were in the area on Saturday.

I think that's the fattest Bear i've ever seen. Should be nicknaming that one lardass. You guys have a spring Bear hunt over there? If it's on or near public i'd be trying to get that one.

You probably saw some pretty high-water levels if you were in the area on Saturday.

Yes, it was an adventure. 101 was blocked by a wreck, so we took a little self-designed detour. Thankfully I'd rented a Ram 2500 4WD, so the water was there but not an issue.

NC does not have a spring bear, but it does have a fall bear season. This bear is on the Alligator river national wildlife refuge, which does allow some hunting, but not for bear. I believe there is some bear hunting opportunities near by though.
