I think that's the fattest Bear i've ever seen. Should be nicknaming that one lardass. You guys have a spring Bear hunt over there? If it's on or near public i'd be trying to get that one.

NC does not have a spring bear, but it does have a fall bear season. This bear is on the Alligator river national wildlife refuge, which does allow some hunting, but not for bear. I believe there is some bear hunting opportunities near by though.

How does the statue look? I was there 26 years ago, almost to the day, and went up there to take a look at it. Unfortunately, it was under construction in 2000, so there was a bunch of scaffolding, and what not, around it.
