A few years ago I caught these two old bucks drinking out of this fountain that the property owner had placed there just for that purpose. A week later someone came along and stole the fountain. I don't get it.

I know it's one photo per day but here's a view from 6,300 feet looking up at 10,000 feet. Next are views looking back down from 10,000 feet to lake level 6,300 feet. Desolation wilderness Tahoe. Can't believe it's been 10 years since I backpacked to the top of that peak. Best view in the Sierras!
