Not bear season when I took this photo on the Alaska Peninsula directly across the Shelikof Strait from Kodiak. The brown bears get super big in that area, certainly bigger than this guy, but he was a nice boar, offering a pretty perfect shot...if in season with a tag in the pocket, maybe!...
Today was an absolutely gorgeous day in the mountains. Yesterday‘s forecast was for snow and wind today. Man, wouldn’t it be nice to have a job where you could be wrong most of the time and still get paid?
