12 fresh and 15 old.....an avg year but for lack of snow it was a good year and am seeing many fine Bulls to pursue in 4 months....as a comparison 5 years ago we had late heavy snow and I picked 45 fresh...I doubt I will ever see that again and it is better for the elk carryover especially with Wolves having lighter snow and little dieoff
Can't believe its already halfway through May. Bowman and I decided to hit the coast range before work this morning to set up a few cameras. The place is already a jungle.
I missed this bear on april 30th, still unsure how I missed at 150 yards. Lost faith in my rifle so I borrowed a friends. Went out 4 days later and was on him instantly. Snuck into 50 yards and my first bear was on the ground.
Unfortunately I don't, I managed to take three pics as my camera died and phone was already dead. He was a small boar, after finally putting one on the ground I think I'm starting to get the hang of field judging them haha
