A quick gravel bar camp set-up for the night on a 10-day lite-raft float in remote western Alaska last month...


Had a bonus that there was an eagle's nest on the other side of the river...

The young eagle is on the branch above the nest looking at his mother to the right. She had been bringing fish after fish to him for dinner! He is on the verge of taking flight. Pretty entertaining for the evening!
(sorry about the poor quality...I was traveling light on the float and only had my iPhone.
