In 2020 my wife and I were lucky enough to draw one of a limited number of permits to drive our truck-camper on the 92-mile road inside Denali National Park in August (seen below)...it was a very unique summer opportunity created by the dramatic drop in tourism due to Covid that first year. Usually it's only open to buses loaded with tourists in the summer...

There was a landslide last year near the location of the image below that closed the road at mile 43...it remains closed to this day.
